‘McCain=Bush’ equals removal from McCain town hall meeting

McCain team actions seem to confirm the message of an “offensive” sign that led to its carrier, 61-year-old librarian Carol Kreck, to be expelled from John McCain’s town hall meeting in Denver, CO, today. What did this sign say?
“McCain = Bush”
I can see why that would be considered so offensive to warrant expulsion from an event billed as “open to the public.” You can watch the video of law enforcement dealing with the “threat” to John McCain.

Says Amanda at Think Progress:
McCain has apparently taken a page from the Bush playbook. In 2005, the White House had three activists expelled from a Denver public forum with President Bush because it was the administration’s policy “to exclude potentially disruptive guests from Bush’s appearances nationwide.”

Apparently, this resort is open to U.S. service personnel and Guantanamo’s 3,000 workers, the paper reports. And it only costs $42 per night “for a fully equipped, air conditioned unit.”
