Just this morning, I was visiting with a colleague about our evaporating retirement. We both agreed that Wal-Mart may become the new retirement for more and more seniors down the road. That’s why this email that I got this morning was so funny and timely.
Below is an actual job application that this 75-year-old senior citizen submited to a Wal-Mart store in California. They hired him because he was funny.

According to Valencia Blog…
Marking the end of Valencia’s Feria de Julio is the famous flower battle (la batalla de flores), established in 1892. Basically, falleras ride on parade floats, equip themselves with tennis rackets, and allow onlookers to pelt them with heavy little flowers.
