Okay, I previously said that I would not have any political posts over the July 4th weekend, so I’m going to pretend like this post isn’t really about politics. At least politics is not the central purpose of this post; I hope you’ll understand why I couldn’t hold it until next week. It was just too much fun.
As you may or may not have heard and/or seen, MoveOn.org — always a provocative left-wing advocacy group that’s generally a bit too over-the-top for me — put out a political ad that features a young mother with her young son asking John McCain a sobering question:
