Welcome to the inaugural edition of Wordless Wednesday. With a seminar that our department is coordinating today, I’m spending extra time working on that, which takes away from time to blog (and look for things on the internet that help inspire my writing and sharing). So, it’s a perfect time to introduce the popular weekly meme Wordless Wednesday.

My mother demonstrates with (counter-clockwise from the top) Sam (our pug), Belle (mom’s Bichon Frise), Obie (mom’s other Bichon Frise), Gideon (our Lhasa Apso) and Princess (our pug). If there eyes had been lasers, they would have bored a hole in her hand!
