‘I Love the World’

The Discovery Channel has a really cool promotional spot that they’ve been running for a couple of weeks. According to the press release:
‘I Love the World’ features some of Discovery Channel’s signature talent, including Dirty Jobs’ Mike Rowe, Man vs. Wild’s Bear Grylls and MythBusters’ Jamie Hyneman, as well as some regular people from around the world, singing along to the campfire classic ‘I Love the Mountains.’ Stephen Hawking even makes a cameo!
Last night as I was catching up on the new season’s Deadliest Catch episodes recorded on my DVR, I got to see it again a couple more times. It’s so cool and fun, I had to share it.

I also found an extended, “stage” version led by Discovery Channel star Mike Rowe and featuring many of the stars and characters from the channel. I’m not sure what this was from, although I suspect that it was a Discovery Channel promotional event of some kind. It’s almost as fun to watch as the original promotional TV spot.
